Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Writemygrants website and any grant research, grant writing, proposal development, funding strategy, application review, or grant management services provided by Writemygrants.
Last updated: 21.09.2026
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing the Writemygrants website (the "Site") or engaging Writemygrants ("we," "us," "our") for grant writing, grant research, proposal development, funding strategy, grant application review, or grant management services (the "Services"), you ("client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our Services.
2. Description of services
Writemygrants provides freelance grant consulting services to nonprofits, small businesses, startups, accelerators, community organizations, and educational institutions, including but not limited to:
- Grant research and funder matching
- Grant writing and proposal narrative development
- Proposal development, including budgets and supporting attachments
- Funding strategy and multi-year grant calendar planning
- Grant application review
- Grant management and reporting support
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement will be confirmed in a separate written proposal, quote, or agreement between Writemygrants and the client before work begins.
3. Engagement, quotes & payment
Quotes provided during a free consultation are estimates and become binding only once confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. Writemygrants reserves the right to pause or withhold ongoing work on any engagement with an overdue balance. Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements will be set out in your project agreement.
4. No guarantee of funding
Grant funding decisions are made solely by the relevant funder, government body, foundation, or grant-making organization. Writemygrants does not control, influence, or guarantee funder decisions, and no representation is made — express or implied — that any application, proposal, or grant submission will be successful. Our commitment is to deliver professionally researched, strategically written, and compliant work product; award outcomes remain outside our control.
5. Client responsibilities
To deliver accurate, competitive proposals, we rely on the client to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information, data, and documentation when requested
- Review and approve drafts within the timeframes agreed for each engagement
- Hold all necessary legal authority to apply for the grants in question on behalf of their organization
- Confirm final accuracy of all figures, claims, and representations before submission
Delays in providing requested information may affect project timelines and, where relevant, funding deadlines.
6. Intellectual property
Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final proposal materials prepared specifically for their engagement. Writemygrants retains the right to use anonymized or aggregated information about an engagement (e.g., sector, general outcome, award range) for marketing purposes, such as case studies, unless the client requests otherwise in writing. All website content, branding, and template materials remain the intellectual property of Writemygrants and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Confidentiality
Writemygrants treats all client information, financial data, and business details shared during an engagement as confidential, and will not disclose it to third parties without consent, except where required by law or necessary to complete a grant submission (e.g., to the funder itself).
8. Cancellation & refunds
Either party may cancel an engagement in writing with 7 days' written notice. Fees for work already completed at the time of cancellation remain payable. Refunds, where applicable, will be assessed based on work completed versus fees paid at the time of cancellation, as set out in the specific project agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Writemygrants' total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Writemygrants is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost funding opportunities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
Writemygrants may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
